First:

Make sure that PFAD is one of your trusted sites in Internet Explorer.
- Tools / Internet Options / Security / Trusted Sites
- Click the "Sites" button.
- Fill in "www.pfad.org" if it's not there.
- UN-CHECK the "require server verification (https) option.

Second:

Make sure your browser trusts the PFAD Certificate Authority
- Right-Click here to download a copy of the PFAD web server root certificate to your computer.
- Save the certificate to your desktop.
- Right-click on the file you save and choose "install certificate"
- During the installation, choose "place all certificates in the following store"
and browse to the "Trusted Root Certification Authorities" store.
